According to the offering circular, the franchisee will operate a KFC outlet which prepares and sells chicken and other approved menu items using certain trademarks and trade secrets owned by KFC Corporation.

The offering circular states that the initial fee for the franchise offered is $25,000. If the franchisee enters into a development services agreement under which KFC provides certain site development and/or construction services, there is a development fee which varies depending on the number and type of services provided. The franchisor estimates that the initial investment required for a KFC outlet ranges from $1,142,300 to $1,732,300.
