This offering circular describes the franchise as a restaurant that sells and serves a variety of Mexican food, other food products and beverages and food services under the name TACO DEL MAR®. The offering circular states that the initial franchise fee is $23,000 for the first restaurant opened by the franchisee and $15,000 for all additional restaurants. Under the Area Development Agreement, the franchisee must pay the franchisor the initial franchisee fee for the first restaurant plus a development fee of $5,000 per each additional restaurant to be developed, with a credit of $5,000 against these initial franchise fees. The franchisor estimates the initial investment to range from $146,400 to $297,000.
