As described in the offering circular, the franchisee will operate one or more Weichert Offices providing residential real estate brokerage services and, at the franchisee’s election, non-residential real estate brokerage services.

The offering circular states that the initial franchise fee for one Weichert Office is $25,000 for a Standard Market territory and $12,500 for a Small Market territory. The Additional Office Fee is $12,500 per office for additional offices when the franchisor approves the additional offices before the parties sign the Franchise Agreement. However, if the franchisee wishes to open any additional Offices which were not approved before signing the Franchise Agreement, the offering circular states that the franchisee must sign the franchisor’s then-current form of franchise agreement for each additional offices and pay the then-current Additional Office Fee.

The franchisor estimates that the initial investment required for the initial office is from $45,000 to $269,000 (not including real property).
